As the latest PR import's update we decided to take a quick view at player's performances so far and rank them due to that performances as of right now. Some had left already, some just arrived. The list is base in stats, overall performance and player contribution to his team. Here is the list:
1. Lee Nailon (204-F-75, college: TCU)- Quebradillas= Although he initially came as a substitute for Shawn El Cano Redhage until he finish his season in Australia, team is seriously considering keep him for all season due to his great performance so far. He has made a solid all around contribution to 'Piratas'.
2.Shawn Pruitt- Isabela= Start a little rusty but now seems in a very good rhythm in both ends of the floor. Leading rebounder of the tournament and top 3 in blocks.
3.LeRoy Hickerson (196-G-82, college: Cumberlands)- San German= Since his arrival he has impressed everybody with his athletic ability but he can provide other things on the floor as well. Has fill in perfectly so far to a young and hunger 'Atleticos' squad.
4. Davin Green (201-G/F-82, college: Hampton)- Isabela= Has been Gallitos go to go guy since the preseason. Can provide a little bit of everything on the floor.
5.Robert Traylor (204-F/C-77, college: Michigan)- Santurce= Since joining 'Vaqueros', the 'Tractor' has provided inmediate impact to the current champs. He came as a savior due to the poor performance of Fran Steyn.
6.Marcus Fizer (203-F-78, agency: Priority Sports, college: Iowa St.)- Guaynabo= With some up and downs Fizer is proving that he still the elite player we are use to see and has been a double-double guy almost every night.
7. Anthony Walker (204-F-75, agency: Scenic Sports Group, LLC., college: Kentucky)- Guaynabo= Walker's game has shown some progress lately and seems likes he is getting into a rhythm. He is part of the reason Mets are 5-1.
8. Marqis Gainous (206-F-76, college: TCU)- Santurce= In his first time in Puerto Rico, he showed a not impressive but solid overall game. Unfortunately, he injured his hand and 'Cangrejeros' were forced to substitute him.
9. James Mays (206-F-86, college: Clemson)- Humacao= The main contributor to 'Cacique's' cause so far. Has been inconsistent but has shown that he can carry his team offensively any given night.
10.Blake Walker (196-G/F-82, college: Portland St.)- San German= An underrated component of his team success so far. His future is uncertain though due to 'Atletico's' need of a big man right now.
11.James Maye (201-G/F-81, college: NC-Greensboro)- Mayaguez= Has taken the things where he lefted last year, scoring in bunches since his arrival. His performance hasn't convert in team victories yet though.
12.DeAngelo Collins (206-F-82)-- Ponce= He came as the leading rebounder in China but hasnt made justice for himself in the BSN. 'Leones' played their last game in San German without him so his status is uncertain as of right now.
13.Walker Russell (183-G-82, college: Jacksonville St.)- Quebradillas= The ex NBDL assist leader is 3rd in BSN with 6 ast per game but hasn't been able to contribute that much on the offensive end as 'Piratas' expected. Some rumors place him out of PR soon due to his team 2-3 record but nothing officially has been announced.
14.Dan Langhi (208-F-77, college: Vanderbilt)- Mayaguez= Solid back to back games since his debut showing that he is ready to help last year's Cinderella team 'Indios' to obtain their first victory of the season. Mayaguez hopes that Langhi-Maye duo can repeat their last year's performance.
15.Chris Daniels (211-C-84)- Santurce= He came as one of top rebounders in S. Korea this season. Has shown some skills since substituting Marqis Gainous . In 2 games with him, his team plays for 1-1.
