By the end of february is scheduled to begin U13, U15 and U17 male tournaments. This year the competition will have a different system of games. The tournament will be played by 14 teams. The first round will consist of 26 games. After those 26 games the 6th best qualified teams will play an HEXAGONAL of 5 games.
Out of this roud, only 4 will qualify fo the so called QUADRANGULAR.
THE QUADRANGULAR will hold road and home games, totallizing 5.

After being losing by 20 points at mid 2nd quarter, SOL re took control of the game through a tough defense and a great Jose Fabio playing low post. The argentinian naturalized paraguayan sin 2010 was simply too much for Guillemo Araujo, Cristian Rodas and Diego Bareiro (195-F/C-91) in the red zone.
By the end of 4th quarter reached its second lead in the game to close it 76-73.
With this victory Sol leads 2-0 the Champions Cup , a cup that will finally release 2011 absolut champion [read more]

Felix Perez (208-C-71) will face Libertad tonight in the beginning of the 4th round of semifinal phase of TOP 4 METRO tournament. The game will be taking place at SND ARENA.
Libertad lost against sol 65-69 last monday in an electrifying game. After leading by 16 points during great period of 1st half, Sol slowly but strongly in defense came back to close out the half by one point differential to its favor 44-43 [read more]

After that breaking defense composture, Libertad could never get back to its original great performance. Federico Mellone (190-G/F-85) got injured in the point, somehow this affected negatively Libertads endurance even though Carlos Vallejos played excellent replacing him in that posicin. In Sol Anthony Glover (197-F-79, agency: Dream Team Management, college: St.John's) delivered an overwhelming offensive battery. Low post moves, 3 point shooting, assinting to Jose Fabio and converting all his free throws were simply too much for Libertad. Guillermo Araujo (204-C-82) was not in his night and Steven Toiloi did a lot but not enough to turn things to his side. Daniel Perez (190-G/F-84) , the CLUTCH Libertads player got very ungry when with 30 seconds in the clock and 2 points behind Mellone threw away a too risky pass to ARAUJO in the paint. Turn over and ball for Sol de America who took from out a band and netted 2 free throws to kill all Libertads chances to win the game.
Tonights game is win or go home for FELIX PEREZ who lost two in a row. The only chance for the RED team is to win all its following games to pretend to qualify directly to the FINALS.
