Semifinals of the Liga Nacional started last weekend. First games were played on Saturday and second games were played on Sunday.
Boston College did a great job against Los Leones in both meetings. In the first one, Boston College celebrated 81-89 victory. Visitors celebrated in Game Two as well 77-93 taking 2-0 lead in the series.
Other pair is Deporters Castro - Osorno. Deportes Castro has 2-0 lead thanks to 76-66 and 77-74 home wins.

Sokol de Antofagasta agreed to terms with two foreign players in order to replace Michael Smith (201-G/F-76, college: La-Monroe), who left the team to sign with Quilmes Mar del Plata, and Xavier Keeling (201-F-88, college: St.Catharine), who had to left the team after an incident in the game against Espanol.
To replace them, Sokol de Antofagasta signed the american Deshawn Danzey (198-F-84, college: Victory) and the jamaican Damian Staple (201-F/C-80, college: Iowa St [read more]
To replace them, Sokol de Antofagasta signed the american Deshawn Danzey (198-F-84, college: Victory) and the jamaican Damian Staple (201-F/C-80, college: Iowa St.). Danzey is a 27 tear old forward with playing experience in the NAIA , Argentina, Uruguay and also in Chile, where he played for Deportivo Valdivia. Staple is a 31 year old power forward/center with playing experience in the NCAA, Bolivia, France, Venezuela and Mexico. They played on wednesday night, scoring 7 and 17 points respectively.
