Prestes was the second best rebounder in ACB last season, but unfortunately his team finished dead last and faced with relegation to LEB Gold. Paulo Prestes joined Unicaja in 2006 from COC Ribeirao Preto, but he was sent on loan immediately. First two years he spent with LEB Gold team Clinicas Rincon. In 2007/08 he exploded with 17.1 ppg and 9.3 rpg in this competition. Next season his numbers were pretty close. That was a reason why Unicaja called him back shortly in 2009. Meanwhile, there are some rumors that Unicaja wants to return their former player Carlos Cabezas (186-G-80). He was playing in Malaga for many years, before he moved to Khimky Moscow last summer. Cabezas had 7.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 2.4 apg for 16 Euroleague games last season. In Russia, he added 6.2 ppg and 3.1 apg for 21 games.
