LNBP is days away from opening night. This promises to be a very interesting season as the league underwent several changes. First and foremost, the league reduced the number of teams in an effort to solidify the competition. Additionally, the league eliminated the 2 latin player allowance per team and only allows 3 foreigners. This has opened the door for many talented mexican players as the opportunity to play and contribute has increased. This year also marks the return of Guadalajara, a prominent City in Mexico who hadnt participated with a team in the LNBP since Tecos left 3 seasons ago. Jones got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Jones' great performance Obregon lost 93-112 to the higher-ranked Hermosillo (#1, 20-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Obregon not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 15 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jones could try to bring Obregon's a little bit higher in the standings. Jones has individually a great season in Mexico.
