Game Six of the LNBP Semifinals was played last night. Toros celebrated 69-74 road win against Fuerza Regia and tied the score to 3-3 in the series. It was a good game for American-Nigerian forward Ike Ofoegbu (205-85, college: SMU, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 8 rebounds. It means that Halcones Rojos became the first finalist and now will wait for the winner of Fuerza Regia - Toros series. The score is 2-2 now, after yesterday's 79-96 road victory by Fuerza Regia. Pioneros - Halc.Rojos 91-97 OT (0-4) The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 24-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 17-11. Halcones Rojos made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Paul Stoll (178-G-85) who helped to win the game recording 32 points (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Venezuelan power forward Luis Bethelmy (200-86) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Halcones Rojos' coach Eddie Casiano used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
