Bahia Estudiantes bolstered their roster. They agreed on terms of contract with Marcus Fizer (203-F-78, college: Iowa St.). The forward started the previous season in Taiwan. He played for Taiwan Mobile Leopards. He appeared in just one game posting 23 points, 13 boards and 2 assists. Later Marcus Fizer moved to Puerto Rico. The forward signed with Brujos de Guayama. He notched 11.7 points, 7.7 boards, 2.0 assists per game in BSN. Previously Marcus Fizer had stints in Puerto Rico, Israel, Spain, D-League and NBA. He made it into All-Israeli League 2nd Team in 2008. Marcus Fizer was trumped All-D-League MVP in 2006.
